TFL – Trade Lending Operations – NCT

Overview

Trade Lending Operations role in Pune supporting syndicated loan deals with Middle Office and Back Office functions for Corporate and Investment Banking, covering the loan lifecycle across trade support, documentation, settlements, cash reconciliation, drawdowns, re-pricing and payments.

What you'll do

• Manage Trade Support (Middle Office) by ensuring accurate static set up of clients in Loan IQ, including KYC checks, deal, facility and loan set up, and control reporting.
• Manage Trade Closing (Middle Office), including trade booking in Clearpar (Markit), loan trade documentation, portfolio position management, complex calculations, compiling funding memos and pricing letters, broker and transfer fee management, and corporate actions.
• Interact with the trading desk, agents and clients, handle ad hoc trading desk requests, and resolve pre-settlement discrepancies with the loan servicing team.
• Manage Trade Settlement (Back Office), including reviewing trade documentation, pricing letters and KYC, settling trades in Loan IQ, publishing daily MIS reports, cash reconciliation and investigation, and resolving post-settlement issues.
• Manage Loan Servicing (Middle Office) by ensuring accurate static set up of clients in Loan IQ, including KYC checks, credit agreements, deals, facilities and loans, and control reporting.
• Manage Loan Servicing (Back Office), including reviewing credit agreements and pricing letters, servicing loans in Loan IQ, publishing daily MIS reports, cash reconciliation and PD investigation, and resolving issues and queries.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or post-graduation degree in Finance.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a dynamic and confident approach.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning.
• Understanding of organizational behavior and problem solving.
• Knowledge and understanding of the LMA (Loan Market Association) market.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the syndicated loan market and secondary loan trading.
• Ability to implement tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
• Team player who fosters team spirit in a global setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows, applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
