Tier II and III Enterprise Systems Engineer Opportunities Supporting TSA TOMCAT

Overview

Tier II and Tier III Enterprise Systems Engineer roles supporting the TSA TOMCAT Program, providing operational support and senior engineering escalation for TOMCAT enterprise infrastructure and core services.

What you'll do

• Provide engineering and operational support for TOMCAT enterprise infrastructure and core services.
• Troubleshoot escalated incidents across Windows/Linux, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Perform system administration tasks including configuration, patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Analyze performance, capacity, availability, and operational health; review monitoring alerts.
• Coordinate with network, cloud, cybersecurity, database, application, and ServiceNow teams to resolve cross-domain incidents.
• Execute approved changes and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and service records.

What you'll need

• BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Masters with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TSA Suitability and Public Trust security clearance.
• Enterprise systems administration/engineering experience and support for Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, monitoring, storage, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with ITIL incident, change, and problem-management processes.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and service-restoration experience.

• Work location: Remote, with onsite/surge/shift support as required.
• Pay range: $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 (U.S. positions; range shown on posting).
