Timing & Power Analysis CAD Engineer

Overview

Timing & Power Analysis CAD Engineer responsible for developing and enhancing automated timing/power signoff flows and related tools in Marvell’s M1DP CAD platform.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance PrimeTime-STA & PrimePower-based power signoff flows in M1DP.
• Enable and support In-Design Timing & Power flows for timing/power-aware optimization.
• Collaborate with Physical Design and Front-End teams to set up FSDB/activity files and power intent inputs for accurate power computation.
• Develop and maintain glitch analysis and optimization flows.
• Generate, validate, and deliver power analysis reports (dynamic, leakage, glitch) and provide power dashboards.
• Implement automation scripts (Tcl, Python) for timing & power flow execution, debugging, and reporting.

What you'll need

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in CAD flow development or power analysis in semiconductors.
• Proven experience with Synopsys PrimeTime & PrimePower for gate-level and/or RTL-level power analysis.
• Solid understanding of timing concepts and timing effects/variation formats (LVF, POCV, AOCV, etc.).
• Solid understanding of power analysis concepts (dynamic, leakage, glitch power, CGE).
• Experience with FSDB/VCD/SAIF activity file generation and annotation flows.
• Proficiency in Tcl scripting for CAD flow development and automation.
