EDA (Electronic Design Automation) Engineer

Overview

EDA (Electronic Design Automation) Engineer supporting and enhancing the design environment across business groups by evaluating, implementing, and maintaining EDA tools and design flows.

What you'll do

• Evaluate the EDA tool landscape and align solutions with the design roadmap across business groups.
• Consult with stakeholders to define and meet technical and roadmap requirements.
• Provide APAC support for EDA tools, including development, project setup, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop Python applications to support design flows and tool integration (including vibe coding/AI).
• Create and implement EDA interface scripts to build efficient, scalable design flows.
• Standardize and scale successful solutions across business groups.
• Provide technical support for models, DRCs, PDKs, TCAD, PCMs, and TOs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in EDA tools or semiconductor design environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python and scripting familiarity (Perl, Ruby, or TCL).
• Understanding of semiconductor design processes and design flows.
• Knowledge or affinity with TCAD, PDKs, and device modeling.
• Experience in data processing and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an engineering mindset.
