Trainee Junior Engineer (WAG REMAN)

Overview

Trainee Junior Engineer (WAG REMAN) responsible for machining and assembling/disassembling components, ensuring part quality, and completing inspections and documentation while following safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Produce and assure quality of parts and machine parts on machines.
• Disassemble, assemble, and requalify components using hand and power tools.
• Adhere to standard operating processes.
• Inspect components and document work for compliance to quality or engineering requirements.
• Follow safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE in assigned work areas.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety culture and participate in 5S.
• Accept training and coaching from the supervisor.

What you'll need

• 1-3 years of experience in machining or assembling/disassembling components.
• Training and/or experience using measuring equipment and reading drawings.
• Diploma in Mechanical engineering / Production or equivalent.
• Ability to perform shop math calculations and read/interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work orders.
• Readiness to work in shifts, overtime, and weekends.
