Validation Engineer

Overview

As a Validation Engineer, you validate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications before production release.

What you'll do

• Validate relevant ICs against specified electrical, functional, and performance requirements.
• Prepare laboratory test setups for complex silicon evaluation.
• Contribute to custom evaluation boards and hardware used for silicon characterization.
• Develop measurement scripts using Python for lab automation.
• Perform data acquisition, statistical analysis, and result correlation.
• Identify, document, and track silicon and application issues across device, board, and system levels.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to debug and resolve silicon and system-level bugs.

What you'll need

• About 2 years of work-related experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Good expertise in lab automation and proposing measurement technique improvements.
• Proficiency in Python programming for lab automation hardware environments.
• Basic knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronics.
• Board-level analog and digital circuit design expertise for PCB schematic creation.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with systematic problem solving.
