Value Solutions Engineer (Pre-sales)

Overview

Value Solutions Engineer (Pre-sales) driving customer value through upselling, cross-selling, customer advisory, and value-based solution presentations.

What you'll do

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by identifying and driving new opportunities aligned to business objectives.
• Run comprehensive business reviews to understand customer problems and communicate how Rubrik solutions address them.
• Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
• Create internal and external enablement content such as battle cards, videos, white papers, infographics, and blogs.
• Conduct regular sales and SE calls with customers (phone/in-person).
• Create value-based proposals using total cost of ownership and ROI models.
• Deliver product presentations, demos, and workshops highlighting technical capabilities and business value.
• Perform security assessments of prospects’ current solutions and recommend enhancements.

What you'll need

• 5–7+ years of experience in pre-sales or account management in a software or data center environment.
• Good understanding of Security and Data Protection fundamentals (a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strategic planning, and project management skills.
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
• Drive for success with a hands-on “can do” approach.
• Comfort working with multiple decision-makers to drive presentations and demos.
• Comfort working remotely in an autonomous manner.
