Verification Engineer - HWPM

Overview

Verification Engineer role in NVIDIA’s HWPM team, focused on ASIC/system-level RTL verification and performance measurement methodology for NVIDIA SoCs and GPUs.

What you'll do

• Define and develop system-level RTL and performance measurement methodologies for HWPM.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and implement tests to validate microarchitecture and design functionality.
• Create reusable, scalable testbenches and testbench components using SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and software engineers to drive feature completeness and verification closure.

What you'll need

• Have an M.Tech. (or equivalent) in VLSI or Electronics Engineering, or B.Tech with 2+ years in a similar domain.
• Have hands-on experience in unit and/or system-level verification.
• Be able to contribute to testbench development and maintenance (preferably SystemVerilog and standard methodologies).
• Have proficiency in Python or industry-standard scripting languages for automation and test development.
• Demonstrate debugging fundamentals such as reading waveforms, analyzing logs, and isolating issues.
• Be familiar with simulation/debug tools such as VCS, Xcelium, Verdi, or similar environments.
• Have good understanding of RTL design concepts and experience with Verilog or SystemVerilog.

Nice to have

• Experience with UVM is a strong plus.
