Work Placement & Migration Specialist

Overview

Manage the strategic placement and migration of work across Global Shared Services Centre (GSC) locations, aligning with service delivery models, operational efficiency and established standards.

What you'll do

• Lead all new work and offshoring / new work or 1:1 transfers for accounts in scope, bridging sales and operations to ensure smooth transition of new or additional business.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to monitor and report compliance with work placement standards and decisions.
• Lead the migration of work based on the service catalogue, maintaining consistency, recording exceptions and reducing fragmentation.
• Make informed decisions on work placement within the GSC, balancing strategic priorities, capabilities and compliance requirements.
• Demarcate work scope and assess the right placement of tasks.
• Evaluate FTE basis standard guidelines and principles.
• Communicate effectively between internal and external stakeholders across teams.
• Apply an analytical mindset with clear planning and reporting.

What you'll need

• Experience leading large transition projects (150 FTE or more).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in transition management, migrations and project management.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing complex and dynamic transition projects.
• Certified Prince2 Practitioner or PMP is a must.
• Experience working in a global business environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and a good team player.
• Comfortable dealing with senior management and taking part in tough discussions.
• Passionate about driving customer experience and client centricity.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and overall expertise in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Diverse senior stakeholder management (diplomatic).
• Experience handling large-scale work migration projects.
• Experience in solution design.
• Understanding of process modeling.
• Change management knowledge.
• Knowledge of the logistics and services industry.
• Experience with transition and transformation of projects.
• Timely completion of offshoring programs.
• Experience with automation, digitalization and centralization programs.

Nice to have

• LEAN Six Sigma.
• Scrum Master certification.
• Practitioner certification in Prince2 or project management.
