Workplace Services Operations Manager

Overview

Lead Workplace Services operations across Agilent's India field sites, serving as the primary Workplace Services business partner for site leadership and managing strategic service providers to deliver safe, compliant and cost-effective workplace services.

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day Workplace Services operations across India field sites and facilities.
• Ensure consistent delivery of workplace services aligned with business requirements and company standards.
• Drive operational excellence, service quality, governance and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary escalation point for workplace operational issues.
• Oversee facility operations across India field locations.
• Manage strategic facility management partners and service providers.
• Support lease administration, landlord management, workplace planning and occupancy optimization.
• Ensure facilities support business continuity and operational requirements.
• Manage key workplace service providers, including facilities management, security, travel services, fleet and transportation programs, food and catering services, and workplace support services.
• Establish governance processes, KPIs, SLAs, business reviews and continuous improvement programs.
• Drive supplier performance, cost optimization and service innovation.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders.
• Understand evolving business needs and translate them into workplace solutions.
• Promote a customer-centric culture focused on responsiveness and service excellence.
• Lead workplace communications and change management activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Partner closely with EHS, Security, HR, Legal and Procurement teams.
• Support audits, inspections, risk assessments and corrective action programs.
• Participate in business continuity and crisis management activities.
• Support site expansions, relocations, workplace upgrades and employee experience initiatives.
• Lead local implementation of workplace transformation projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external consultants.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage operational budgets and forecast workplace expenditures.
• Identify productivity opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance against financial and operational objectives.
• Support annual planning and capital funding requests.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Coach contractors, service providers and workplace professionals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Workplace Services, Facilities Management, Real Estate Operations, Corporate Services or similar operational leadership roles.
• Experience managing multi-site operations and outsourced service providers.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience leading workplace projects and operational improvements.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience within a multinational corporation.
• Experience supporting laboratory, engineering, R&D, manufacturing or technology environments.
• Professional qualifications in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Project Management or Workplace Strategy.
• Experience with workplace technology, space management and employee experience platforms.

Details

• Location: Manesar, India, with responsibility for Agilent sites across India.
• Full-time weekly schedule; day shift.
• Travel: approximately 10% of the time.
