Overview
The Associate Business Financial Analyst supports financial planning, reporting, and analysis for business divisions.
What you'll do
- Assist with annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and analyses for operating metrics.
- Support monthly financial close and reporting processes, including variance analysis.
- Investigate material variances and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Support division budget management, including cost analysis and profitability analysis.
- Build dashboards and support investment analyses including financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Maintain financial models, templates, and reporting documentation accurately.
What you'll need
- Entry-level role for a recent graduate (entry-level is stated).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or MBA in these disciplines.
- 0–2 years internship/academic-project/professional experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, basic financial modeling).
- Familiarity with financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
