Overview

Account Executive (Startups) driving adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic deals with fast-growing startup customers.

What you'll do

• Win new business and drive revenue for Anthropic.
• Own the full sales cycle from first outbound to launch.
• Educate prospective customers about LLMs and help them succeed.
• Design and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue quotas.
• Analyze market landscapes and translate plans into targeted sales activities, partnerships, and campaigns.
• Spearhead market expansion by identifying new customer segments and use cases.
• Gather customer feedback to inform product roadmaps and features.
• Refine sales methodology by updating playbooks, templates, and best practices.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience prospecting and closing startup leads.
• Consultative, solutions-oriented approach to driving adoption of emerging technologies.
• Experience working within complex sales cycles selling to technical stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating complex, customized commercial agreements with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated history of exceeding quota.
• Excellent communication skills across customer levels from ICs to C-level executives.
• Passion for emerging technologies like AI with interest in safe and responsible development.

Details

• Location-based hybrid policy: expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
