Account Executive, Enterprise - Central

Overview

Account Executive, Enterprise (Central) at Motive, responsible for developing and closing new business with Motive’s largest prospects and expanding enterprise accounts.

What you'll do

• Prospect and win new enterprise business by developing executive relationships to drive expansion across key accounts.
• Secure key executive relationships to support RFP wins and grow contractual-based business.
• Partner with the account team and use customer analytics to optimize buying decisions.
• Resolve customer problems by identifying issues, thinking critically, and implementing best available solutions.
• Work with technical resources to demonstrate integrations and how the partner ecosystem increases hardware and software value.
• Plan to meet and exceed ongoing business goals and revenue quotas.
• Develop deep understanding of the technology platform and operations to provide market-driven input and product iterations.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of SaaS or industry-relevant enterprise field sales experience (required).
• Deep enterprise sales experience partnering with F1000 clients.
• Track record of exceeding quotas and rapidly growing a book over time, supported by data.
• Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes.
• Ability to work independently with a data-driven mindset to plan short-, medium-, and long-term sales goals.
• Best-in-class communication skills to convey value propositions and manage objections.

• Work mode: United States - Remote.
• Open territory: Central timezone, open to individuals located in IL, KS, MN, MO, ND, SD, WI.
• Compensation depends on where you reside; on-target earnings (base pay + commissions) are $230,000–$300,000 USD.
