Account Manager

Overview

Account Manager role leading financial accounts finalization, audit liaison, closing processes, management reporting and telecom revenue accounting.

What you'll do

• Lead the finalization of accounts, including drafting notes to accounts and supporting schedules for periodic and annual financial audits.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors to ensure seamless audit completion and timely query resolution.
• Manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes in adherence to group deadlines.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast), and executive financial reporting packages.
• Utilize SAP FICO modules for general ledger entries, asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and cost center management.
• Ensure system accounting workflows align with internal controls and group financial standards.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition processes specific to telecom operations, and intercompany settlements.
• Ensure strict compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/SFRS) and telecom regulatory requirements.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of financial accounting experience strictly within the Telecommunications industry.
• Advanced, mandatory working knowledge of SAP FICO.
• M.Com (Master of Commerce), Bachelor's in Commerce/Accountancy/Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of telecom revenue accounting, audit schedule preparation, analytical precision, and ability to manage strict closing timelines.

Nice to have

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualification.
