Analyst Accountant Indirect Tax

Overview

Indirect Tax Analyst responsible for VAT/GST/Sales Tax compliance, reconciliations, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

What you'll do

• Record and process VAT journal entries, adjustments, and corrections with SOX/EAE compliance.
• Perform monthly VAT reconciliations between the general ledger and VAT returns.
• Review VAT/GST/Sales Tax returns across multiple countries to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Validate VAT/GST rates applied on sales and purchases within ERP systems.
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Analyze transaction-level data for inconsistencies or anomalies in VAT treatment.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience with Indirect Tax/Sales Tax/VAT.
• Strong understanding of international VAT/GST/Sales Tax frameworks.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills.
• Experience with Blackline Reconciliation tool.
• Familiarity with e-invoicing, tax engines, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
