Analyst, Specialist - Know Your Customer, Small Medium Enterprises

Overview

Conduct KYC due diligence and AML reviews for SME Banking and Institutional Banking clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

What you'll do

• Perform KYC, CDD, and EDD reviews for new and existing customers.
• Assess customer risk profiles using client information, financial statements, ownership structures, and documents.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of KYC documentation, onboarding reviews, remediation, and periodic reviews.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate potential AML, sanctions, financial crime, or regulatory concerns.
• Maintain complete and accurate customer records to support audit and regulatory needs.
• Monitor adherence to AML/KYC requirements including FATCA and CRS.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in KYC, AML, financial crime compliance, client onboarding, or regulatory compliance within banking/financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk identification and assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of KYC, AML, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in using relevant software/tools to manage client information and documentation.
