Application Support Analyst

Overview

Application Support Analyst providing technical and business support for users of Citi applications, supporting short-term resolutions and long-term remediation.

What you'll do

• Field issues and queries from stakeholders for Citi applications.
• Provide short-term resolutions and coordinate long-term remediation with technology partners.
• Act as a liaison between users/traders, internal technology groups, and vendors.
• Support disaster recovery testing and application releases through development, testing, and deployment to production.
• Perform post-release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
• Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues.

What you'll need

• 5-9 years experience.
• Basic knowledge or interest in apps support procedures and concepts.
• Participation in process improvements.
• Knowledge/experience of problem management tools.
• Developed communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence.
• Knowledge of issue tracking and reporting using tools.
• Tech skills including SQL programming (Oracle/Mongo databases) and Unix shell scripting.
