Applications Support Intermediate Analyst

Overview

Provide technical and operational support for enterprise applications in a 24x7 rotational environment. Act as a backup shift lead, coordinate incident resolution, and support application stability and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Coordinate shift coverage, handovers, workload distribution, and team operations.
• Triage, prioritize, escalate, and resolve technical incidents and problems.
• Support major outage resolution and communicate with key stakeholders.
• Perform monitoring, start-of-day checks, application release activities, and post-release validation.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
• Drive support improvements through automation, tooling, and process enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with technical teams, business users, and vendors.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of relevant Application Support or Production Support experience.
• Experience in a senior technical, shift lead, or backup lead capacity.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.
• Experience with dashboarding, reporting, incident tracking, change management, or ticketing tools.
• Strong communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
