Apprentice

Overview

Apprentice roles for Finance graduates to start a career in financial services, with development programs and mentorship.

What you'll do

• Calculate net asset values (NAVs) by processing daily accounting functions for accurate fund pricing.
• Prepare financial statements for annual and interim cycles from trial balance data.
• Process futures and options for European exchange-traded derivatives and support clearing bank coordination.
• Handle accounting documents processing, journal processing, payments preparation, and account reconciliations.
• Process treasury transactions (money market/stock market), prepare/approve payments, and manage collateral/margins.
• Process trade files and confirmations and monitor trade fails with prime brokers and custodians.

What you'll need

• Basic experience with MS Office.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Academic aptitude, analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (preferred; any other major also valid).
• Desire to develop a career in the finance industry.
• Exhibit ownership of tasks and accountability.
