Overview
Senior Service Delivery Manager focused on SAP Basis and end-to-end service delivery for enterprise SAP platforms across multiple hosting environments.
What you'll do
- Lead day-to-day service delivery management for an AMS partner team supporting enterprise SAP platforms.
- Conduct weekly service governance and operational review meetings with L1, L2, and L3 support teams.
- Own incident and problem management, including RCA, knowledge sharing, and service stability improvement.
- Coordinate communications and activities for major or critical incidents with stakeholders.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities in line with infrastructure requirements and SAP operational guidelines.
- Govern change management processes per ITIL, including risk assessment and approval workflows.
- Drive capacity planning, performance monitoring, and performance tuning for critical SAP systems.
What you'll need
- Experience in SAP Basis operations/projects across SAP S/4HANA, ERP, BW, SCM, CFIN, and PaPM.
- Good understanding of SAP RISE setup including R&R.
- Experience in IT infrastructure or IT application project/operations and ability to influence across teams.
- Experience with databases (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server) and OS (Linux RedHat, Windows 2k16 and above).
- Experience with cloud solutions (IaaS and PaaS), preferable Azure.
- Knowledge of cloud/hyperscaler environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) within managed SAP contexts.
- Experience managing vendors with accountability to SLAs and KPIs.
