Overview

Area Sales Manager role for Bangalore East, North and part of Central on Paytm’s oil & gas-adjacent offline payments business.

What you'll do

• Drive EDC/swi ping device sales through proper channels to merchants.
• Resolve merchant queries.
• Engage and manage the merchant base.
• Oversee day-to-day operations.
• Monitor team performance and report on sales/operation metrics.
• Hire, build, and manage the team with clear goals, delegation, and deadlines.
• Identify training needs, coach the team, and handle feedback/issues.

What you'll need

• Graduation or post-graduation qualification.
• Ability to drive sales in the assigned area.
• Experience building and managing a sales team (hiring, goals, delegation, monitoring).
• Ability to resolve merchant queries and manage merchant relationships.
