Assistant Manager - Learning and Development

Overview

Assistant Manager – Learning & Development supports and drives the Learning & Development function at Roswyn Hotel, helping build a continuous learning culture and implementing aligned training initiatives.

What you'll do

• Support People & Culture leadership in developing and implementing the hotel’s overall L&D strategy.
• Conduct training needs analysis and prioritize learning requirements for review and implementation.
• Develop and maintain the annual training plan and monthly training calendar with People & Culture and Department Heads.
• Coordinate and monitor execution of hotel-wide and departmental training programs, including technical, behavioural, service, leadership, and mandatory training.
• Organize and support Departmental Trainers through guidance, coaching, meetings, and on-the-job training/certification coordination.
• Manage training administration and compliance, including records, attendance, evaluations, and certification documentation.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of related work experience following an associate degree, or at least 3 years following an undergraduate degree.
• Proven experience in L&D roles within the hospitality industry.
• Proven experience managing and directing development and delivery of learning or organization development programs in a multi-unit organization.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency designing and delivering learning programs to multi-cultural, multi-level audiences.
• Strong organizational skills to project manage and execute.
• Must be a capable user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
