Associate Accounting Specialist

Overview

Associate Accounting Specialist responsible for cost accounting services, financial reporting support, month-end close activities, and cost center accounting. The role partners with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams on process improvement and automation.

What you'll do

• Support month-end close activities and analyze global cost accounting reports.
• Manage product cost estimates and analyze cost performance and variances.
• Oversee supply chain cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reviews.
• Support MRO accounting and statutory and cost audit requirements.
• Coordinate inventory stock takes, cycle counting reviews, and reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, documentation updates, and finance transformation projects.

What you'll need

• Qualified CA or CMA with at least 2 years of relevant cost accounting or costing experience.
• Inter CA, Inter CMA, or MBA with 5+ years of costing and accounting experience.
• B.Com, M.Com, or related degree with 5+ years of relevant costing and accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, cost analysis, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, cost centers, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and process improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or cost accounting environments.
• Experience with Power BI, automation tools, and enterprise reporting systems.
