Associate Counsel

Overview

Associate Counsel for TechnologyAdvice’s global legal team, supporting commercial contracting, compliance, data privacy, employment matters, and international legal operations.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, insertion orders, vendor agreements, and amendments.
• Identify legal and commercial risks in proposed agreements and recommend practical changes.
• Support senior legal leadership with negotiation strategy inputs and contract resources like templates and clause libraries.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear summaries on Philippine and international laws and compliance needs.
• Support corporate governance, entity maintenance, and regulatory filings for international operations.
• Manage contract and legal records and coordinate with cross-functional internal teams.

What you'll need

• Juris Doctor, Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent degree required.
• Active member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
• Approximately two to four years of relevant legal experience (commercial contracts, corporate law, data privacy, employment law, regulatory compliance, or in-house legal support).
• Strong contract interpretation, legal research, issue spotting, and legal writing skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for email, Slack, video calls, and formal documents.
• Ability to manage priorities while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.

• Employment type: Full Time.
• Working hours: 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. PHT (April–October) and 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. PHT (November–March).
