Associate Engineer, System Design Engineering ( FPGA Design 2-4 years)

Overview

System Design Engineer role focused on next-generation NAND Flash Storage systems, including FPGA implementation, RTL development, and verification.

What you'll do

• Lead FPGA design, implementation, and optimization using Xilinx FPGAs.
• Develop and maintain RTL using VHDL/Verilog for high-speed digital signal processing.
• Port RTL for FPGA implementation and ensure timing-critical performance.
• Design reusable, parameterizable RTL IP cores and integrate custom interfaces.
• Develop embedded firmware for Zynq SoCs and FPGA-CPU interfaces and optimize software-hardware partitioning.
• Execute FPGA system validation/verification with test plans and debug tools.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of proven experience in FPGA design and development.
• Hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs including Zynq-7000 and Zynq UltraScale+ SoCs.
• Vivado Design Suite and IP Integrator/block design methodologies.
• Strong RTL design skills with VHDL/Verilog.
• Embedded firmware experience with C/C++ for ARM Cortex processors.
• System-level debug and validation expertise using industry-standard tools.

Nice to have

• Machine learning principles and implementation on FPGA platforms.
• Experience with other FPGA vendors (Intel/Altera, Microsemi, Lattice).
• Knowledge of AI acceleration frameworks and neural network deployment.
• Familiarity with high-level synthesis (HLS) for ML workloads.
• Experience with high-level synthesis tools (HLS).
