Associate, Institutional Accounting (NE)

Overview

Support institutional investment accounting services for insurance clients by analyzing accounting data, preparing reporting packages, and resolving data and reporting issues.

What you'll do

• Analyze accounting data and provide commentary on accounting results.
• Prepare and review accounting packages and reporting schedules.
• Complete quarterly NAIC reconciliations and resolve follow-up items.
• Review daily exceptions and resolve outstanding issues.
• Gather information for audit requests.
• Respond to client information requests.
• Support special projects and process improvements.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of related work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, controls, and investment types.
• Understanding of GAAP, US Statutory, IFRS, UK GAAP, or Canadian GAAP requirements.
• Strong communication skills for working with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Nice to have

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of insurance reporting, including US Statutory, Solvency II, or IFRS.

• Hybrid work model: at least 4 days in the office and up to 1 day working from home per week.
