Associate Instrumentation Engineer

Overview

Support instrumentation engineering, maintenance, equipment installation, and reliability activities for Pfizer’s manufacturing operations in Vizag.

What you'll do

• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance for filling equipment.
• Manage work control and backlog from work order submission through completion.
• Support maintenance work management and equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and capital project design.
• Coordinate maintenance, production, outside services, stores, and engineering schedules.
• Oversee pest control management in compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Maintain utility documents, drawings, and cGMP documentation.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree with any years of experience.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with reliability-based maintenance practices.
• Aseptic manufacturing experience.
• Computer, technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience in a cGMP environment.
• Biopharma experience.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
• Strong organization and the ability to work independently and in a team.
