Associate Mechatronic Design

Overview

Associate Mechatronic Design supports development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of components and modules for conventional and automated milking systems used in digital agriculture.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and validate mechanical components, assemblies, and complete system solutions for dairy farming applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams on conventional and automated milking system product development.
• Perform product maintenance and engineering changes for mechanical components and modules across the product lifecycle.
• Use 3D CAD to design mechanical parts and assemblies and create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Design sheet metal components and bent part configurations per product and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and engineering drawings to support development and manufacturing.
• Support Quality Assurance and Production by resolving design-related queries and implementing engineering solutions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using Siemens NX is preferred.
• Good knowledge of plastics engineering, sheet metal design, valve technology, pneumatics, and pump systems.
• Understanding of drive and motion control systems with basic electrical engineering principles knowledge.
• Familiarity with the CE Machinery Directive/Regulation and relevant engineering standards.
• Good written and spoken English is essential.
