Associate Software Engineer

Overview

Build high-quality, reliable and scalable software that delivers business value as an Associate Software Engineer in the Product Operating Model, working in a cross-functional agile team.

What you'll do

• Own development, optimization and automation activities.
• Write clean and maintainable code and practice test-driven development.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects and fellow Developers.
• Contribute to solution design and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of features from development through testing and delivery.
• Build low-latency and high-throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automation testing.
• Write SQL queries to collect and analyze data in real time from applications.
• Understand the codebase, systems and business requirements to make effective changes to applications.
• Collaborate in team efforts, advocate for the best solutions, and compromise respectfully when necessary.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in software engineering and development.
• Strong coding experience with Java.
• Thorough SQL composition skills for composing queries and analysis.
• Comfort and experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience in Microservices.
• Illustrated history of living the values: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics.

• Location: Mumbai.
• Hybrid work model: two days in-office, as determined by you and your manager (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday).
