Associate Staff Engineer

Overview

Associate Staff Engineer role focused on full-stack application development, integrations, and API security, including driving solution design and supporting rollout activities.

What you'll do

• Write and review high-quality code.
• Analyze functional requirements and align them to client/project needs.
• Envision end-to-end solutions for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead or support UAT and production rollouts.
• Coordinate requirements, schedules, and development activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs and address issues during review.
• Run POCs to validate suggested designs/technologies against requirements.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of full-stack application development experience.
• Prefer experience in an Azure environment.
• Experience with Python, Java, and React JS.
• Integration experience using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of application and API security (authentication, authorization, access controls, session security, MFA).
• Hands-on Git source control and GitHub Actions CI/CD for dev/test/staging/production deployments.
• Agile/Scrum experience including sprint planning, backlog grooming, story estimation, and iterative delivery.
