Associate STEM Content Analyst - Chemistry

Overview

Associate STEM Content Analyst (Chemistry) to join the Chemistry team in Chennai, working on patent-related content for Derwent.

What you'll do

• Extract novel information from patents.
• Assign value via DWPI codes aligned with editorial policies and conventions.
• Meet production volume and quality targets.
• Adapt to process changes.
• Identify your technology training and development needs on an ongoing basis.

What you'll need

• M.Sc in Chemistry (General/Organic/Pharmaceutical or General Chemistry).
• Fresh graduate acceptable, or 1–2 years of related domain experience.
• Comprehensive chemistry knowledge including nomenclature, reactions, and formulae.
• Knowledge of inorganic chemistry, catalysts, additives, and their functions.
• Knowledge of chemical drawing packages (ISIS Draw it).
• Knowledge and understanding of novelty of inventions in patents.

Details

• Location: Chennai, India.
• Workdays: Monday to Friday.
• Hours of work: 9 hours per day with a 1-hour break (full-time).
