Overview
Automation Engineer (Supply Chain) responsible for designing, building, and maintaining RPA bots and intelligent automation workflows for repeatable, rules-based supply chain processes.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and optimize RPA bots and automated workflows using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
- Develop automation pipelines covering discovery, bot design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Integrate automations with enterprise systems and APIs including SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft applications.
- Implement exception handling, orchestration, and scheduling/queue management for reliable bot execution.
- Maintain governance, credential/access management, audit logging, and change-control processes for automation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, IT teams, engineers, product teams, and supply chain stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of professional experience in RPA development, business process automation, or software engineering (or 2+ years with a master’s degree).
- Strong proficiency in at least one RPA platform among UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate.
- Proficiency in Python, VBScript, and/or Shell scripting, plus SQL for automation scripting and integration.
- Experience with process discovery/assessment including process mapping and identifying automation candidates.
- Experience with automation lifecycle management including version control and CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and change management.
- Experience integrating with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office/365, and web-based systems via APIs and related methods.
