Automation Engineer Analyst

Overview

Automation Engineer Analyst responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining automated tests for desktop and web applications using Selenium. The role focuses on software quality, test coverage, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain Selenium test scripts for desktop and web applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure, Jenkins, or GitLab CI pipelines.
• Coordinate web and desktop testing and environment setup across teams.
• Analyze requirements to define test strategies and execution plans.
• Report defects and track automation progress against PI plans.
• Participate in PI planning, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of software QA and automation testing experience.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Programming knowledge in Java and SQL.
• Proven experience with web and desktop automation.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software testing, defect management, and test documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with JIRA or Zephyr.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and mainframe applications.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and relational databases.
