About the Job

A Business Development Associate at Scaler Edu Tech plays a key role in driving growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the sales process from lead generation to deal closure. This Full-time role is OnSite and offers the chance to contribute to end-to-end recruitment, temporary/permanent staffing, and IT solutions—especially in areas like AI, automation, and data security. You’ll work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, partnering with internal teams to understand customer needs and translate them into compelling proposals.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive lead generation through targeted outreach, networking, referrals, and prospect research.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients across industrial and commercial sectors by understanding requirements and decision-making criteria.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline by tracking interactions, updating CRM records, and scheduling follow-ups.
  • Support the sales cycle by preparing pitch materials, coordinating meetings, and assisting with proposal development.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills throughout the engagement.
  • Collaborate with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are understood and met.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly targets aligned with business development goals and reporting timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong sales skills with the ability to convert qualified leads into opportunities and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with confidence in client-facing conversations.
  • Proven ability to perform lead generation activities and manage a pipeline effectively.
  • Comfort working in an OnSite environment and engaging actively with teams and prospects.
  • Self-motivated mindset with discipline in follow-ups, documentation, and target-driven work.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment, staffing services, or IT solutions (a plus, not mandatory).
