Business Development Manager

Overview

The Business Development Manager supports account managers with sales strategy execution, lead identification, and custom solution development while staying current on industry trends to address client inquiries and maintain customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Build understanding of HP products, services, solutions, and software value propositions and competitive advantages.
• Develop client relationships and understand client business and IT needs.
• Support development and execution of sales strategies for new and existing clients.
• Address client inquiries and concerns via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Identify potential leads using market research and customer data analysis.
• Collaborate with product development teams to tailor or create custom solutions for client needs.

What you'll need

• Four-year/Graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
• Typically 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or related field.
• Skills in outbound calls, customer relationship management, and product demonstrations.
• Experience with enterprise sales, solution selling, and sales prospecting.
• Knowledge of value propositions and sales process.
• Effective communication and learning agility.
