Business Development Representative

Overview

Support LeafLink’s sales organization as a Business Development Representative focused on lead data organization, contact enrichment, sequence preparation, and lead quality verification. This role does not involve direct prospect calling and instead focuses on building clean outreach infrastructure and optimizing sales data workflows.

What you'll do

• Clean, structure, and categorize prospect lists within Salesforce or HubSpot to ensure high data accuracy for Account Executives.
• Build, format, and stage email outreach sequences in tools such as SalesLoft, Apollo, or HubSpot.
• Conduct research to identify decision-makers across licensed cannabis operators.
• Enrich contact details, including emails, direct lines, and software stack information.
• Audit incoming lead lists against qualification criteria before handing them off to internal sales representatives.
• Work closely with Account Executives to organize target account lists.
• Track sequence performance metrics.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in a BDR/SDR support, Sales Operations, or Lead Generation role within SaaS, fintech, or data-driven environments.
• Hands-on experience with CRMs and sales tools, including Salesforce, SalesLoft, HubSpot, Apollo, or Lusha.
• High analytical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail when managing large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and articulate LeafLink’s product offerings and value propositions.
• Self-starter with a passion for the cannabis industry and an understanding of its unique challenges.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or financial services for cannabis businesses.
