Chemist I (Aerosol)

Overview

Chemist I in Research and Development, supporting laboratory testing, new product development, and documentation of results.

What you'll do

• Prepare samples using laboratory dispersion and blending equipment.
• Conduct scheduled laboratory tests and document results.
• Assist with new product development and improvements to existing products.
• Perform competitive product benchmarking analyses and recommend product improvements.
• Define test parameters and initiate product exposure studies.
• Conduct quality control checks, troubleshoot issues, and complete raw material evaluations to conclusion and peer review.

What you'll need

• Educational attainment equivalent to an MSc in Chemistry or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Considerable experience in chemical analysis and industrial research applications.
• Knowledge of raw materials, testing equipment, advanced mathematics, chemical formulation, and composition for research.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality control standards and laboratory safety practices.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software systems and applications.
• Ability to plan, organize, and complete work as scheduled.
