Clinical Applications Specialist - San Diego, CA

Overview

Clinical Applications Specialist responsible for training customers on the safe and effective use of Alcon products and supporting product adoption, installations, and surgical applications in the San Diego, California area.

What you'll do

• Deliver technical and clinical training in person and virtually.
• Support equipment and software installations, upgrades, and adoption at clinical sites.
• Partner with Field Service and Sales teams to schedule training and provide surgical support.
• Document site visits in the CRM within 48 hours.
• Address product problems and adverse-event reports with Medical Safety.
• Support troubleshooting, calibration calls, conventions, conferences, and wet labs.
• Provide product-performance feedback to R&D and complete clinical certifications.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent directly related experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English reading, writing, understanding, and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to support Alcon Cataract and/or Refractive Surgical products.
• Ability to complete administrative duties and maintain data integrity.

• Location: California; role supports the San Diego area.
• Remote work arrangement is stated in the ATS location line.
• Travel: 80%.
• Salary: $98,600–$127,600 annually.
