Clinical Sales Manager

Overview

The da Vinci® Clinical Sales Manager builds and develops the clinical field sales team in their region while managing clinical utilization of the da Vinci® Surgical System within the installed base.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement clinical sales activities to achieve and exceed senior management goals.
• Expand clinical usage in existing accounts.
• Expand clinical usage by selling and training new surgeons in specialties applicable to the da Vinci® Surgical System.
• Manage training and education within the installed base.
• Lead the installation process for new systems.
• Prospect for new system installations and system upgrades within the existing base.
• Provide the clinical sales team with new product information or updates on existing products.
• Work with training and marketing departments to implement strategies and programs as directed.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10+ years sales experience.
• At least 5+ years in medical device sales.
• Proven track record managing and developing a sales force in the medical device industry.
• Strong background in clinical sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution.
• Knowledge of the Operating Room environment is required.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
