Clinical Sales Specialist– Novocastra, Mumbai

Overview

Clinical Sales Specialist for Novocastra (Leica Biosystems), responsible for driving commercial growth and expanding market presence in the assigned territory.

What you'll do

• Own and achieve assigned Novocastra sales targets and territory business objectives.
• Develop and execute territory growth plans and identify and convert sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain a robust sales funnel and ensure accurate CRM opportunity tracking.
• Perform competitive analysis and market-intelligence activities to find growth opportunities.
• Provide technical expertise and application support for Novocastra antibodies and Leica Biosystems consumables.
• Lead Proof of Principle activities, including product evaluations, sampling programs, demonstrations, and customer validations.
• Submit monthly activity and business-outcome reports.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pathology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in Histopathology, Immunohistochemistry, Pathology Applications, Clinical Diagnostics, Diagnostic Sales, or a related field.
• Knowledge of pathology workflows, antibody-based assays, immunohistochemistry, and related diagnostic applications.
• Experience providing customer-facing technical/application support, including troubleshooting, demonstrations, training, or scientific consultation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
• Professional proficiency in English and relevant local language(s).

• Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
• Work mode: fully remote.
• Travel requirement: 60–80% within the assigned region and other geographies as business needs require.
