Cloud Migration Engineer

Overview

Assess existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud, and plan, deliver and implement application and data migration using private and public cloud technologies.

What you'll do

• Evaluate current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments.
• Plan and execute the migration of applications and data with scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Lead the development and implementation of cloud migration strategies to ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
• Monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize network performance during and after migration.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Cloud Network Operations.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Cloud Network Operations.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and network operations within cloud environments.
• Experience with designing and managing scalable network solutions in both private and public cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements related to cloud network operations.
