Command Center Operations Engineer, AVP

Overview

Lead IT command centre operations focused on major incident resolution, production stability, service continuity and operational resilience. Coordinate technical response across global teams and provide scheduled weekend coverage.

What you'll do

• Oversee critical IT disruptions and drive rapid service restoration.
• Lead 24/7 technical bridge operations for non-major incidents.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve lower-tier IT issues and reduce recurrence.
• Conduct tri-daily weekday health reviews with application and infrastructure teams.
• Govern high-impact events, milestone tracking and escalation protocols.
• Oversee weekend deployments and apply risk-mitigation controls.

What you'll need

• Broad technical understanding across network, security, open systems, mainframe, storage, database, middleware, cloud, end-user computing and enterprise applications.
• Ability to integrate emerging technologies and evolving operational procedures.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills for communicating with senior leadership.
• Ability to summarize risks, findings and recommendations for decision-making.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary, multicultural teams across regions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to lead calmly during high-stakes incidents.

Nice to have

• ITIL knowledge.
