Commercial Account Executive, Outbound Sales

Overview

Commercial Outbound Account Executive role focused on prospecting and winning new business for Motive and expanding major accounts.

What you'll do

• Prospect and win new business by building executive relationships to drive expansion.
• Survey prospects to understand pain points and align needs to the Motive solution.
• Demo Motive software to prospective fleet managers and drivers.
• Partner with Account Managers and Freight Ops to optimize buying decisions using customer analytics.
• Resolve customer problems by identifying issues and implementing best available solutions.
• Plan and work to meet and exceed revenue quotas and ongoing business goals.
• Develop understanding of the technology platform and use market input to drive iterations.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of outbound sales experience, preferably with B2B international clients (US/Canada/UK).
• Proven success with a complex outbound sales motion, including hunting and exceeding quotas.
• End-to-end ownership across prospecting, demos, and closing.
• Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes.
• Experience working independently with a data-driven mindset for sales planning.
• Best-in-class communication skills to convey value propositions and manage objections.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably overseas from US/UK/Canada) and/or in-depth exposure to US/Canada/UK B2B customers.
