Commercial Counsel, EMEA

Overview

Commercial Counsel (EMEA) partnering with sales teams to negotiate enterprise and technology commercial agreements and advise on legal and regulatory considerations for responsible AI deployment across EMEA.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements focused on EMEA GTM/sales transactions.
• Provide practical legal guidance to Sales and Go-to-Market teams to support deal velocity.
• Develop and maintain commercial legal infrastructure such as contract templates and playbooks.
• Identify and escalate legal risks while enabling business momentum.
• Stay current on legal developments affecting AI technologies.
• Support relationships with clients, regulators, and industry partners across EMEA.

What you'll need

• Law degree and qualification to practice law in a relevant EMEA jurisdiction.
• 4+ years of legal experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements (e.g., enterprise customer contracts or SaaS agreements).
• Strong legal writing skills for translating legal concepts for non-lawyer audiences.

Nice to have

• Exposure to commercial contracts, SaaS agreements, or technology transactions.
• In-house experience at leading technology companies with EMEA operations.
• Experience supporting sales teams across diverse client segments.
• Knowledge or curiosity about AI technology and AI policy, with a commitment to responsible AI development.

Details

• Work from the London office at least 3 days a week (with possible interim flexibility).
• Hybrid policy: expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship is available; efforts are made if an offer is made.
