National Strategic Projects & Accounts Representative

Overview

Develop and execute consultative, value-added sales within an assigned territory to increase sales across Sika target markets and strategic accounts.

What you'll do

• Use solution-based, consultative techniques to drive value-added sales in the assigned territory.
• Call on owners, architects, consultants, engineers, design-build firms, contractors, and other influencers in the territory.
• Learn and apply Sika product lines across target markets to identify and position products and solutions.
• Make sales calls to uncover construction projects early and build a pipeline of major projects.
• Achieve specifications and support approval so Sika products are specified before project bidding.
• Coordinate with local Sika sales colleagues to maximize opportunities on major projects and key accounts.
• Organize added-value sales efforts for strategic projects and accounts, including seminars and symposiums.
• Use Salesforce.com to run local value-added sales efforts and support strategic pursuits.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
• 3 years of related experience.
• At least 1 year of Technical Sales in the Building Construction industry.
• Experience with specification codes, building codes and applications.
• Experience with P&L management and account management.
• Experience with customer relationship management and contract negotiations.
• Experience presenting using Power BI and reading/interpreting construction documents; specification writing including drawings/details/plans.

Details

• Up to 20% domestic and international travel required to client sites nationwide.
• Local telecommuting permitted.
