Costing Specialist

Overview

This role contacts customers to resolve unpaid accounts, improving cash flow, reducing delinquency, days sales outstanding and bad debt exposure through customer interaction and payment arrangement.

What you'll do

• Contact internal and external customers and vendors to gather inquiry details, provide resolution, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate administrative groups on proper procedures and verify adherence.
• Partner with various departments to resolve and correct payment and billing issues.
• Participate in implementation of new or improved processes to ensure proper usage and adherence.
• Communicate operational instructions to processing workgroups.
• Provide support to internal and external customers to address billing issues and provide requested reports.
• Identify and prioritize issues impacting payment.
• Overcome customer objections regarding payments, help customers understand account terms, and use payment options and negotiation skills to arrange payments.
• Oversee daily workflow.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
