Overview
Lead/Staff/Sr Staff CAD Engineer focused on EM/IR and PDN power integrity analysis for electronic systems and large SoCs.
What you'll do
- Support and enhance static IR, dynamic IR, and electromigration flows at block and subsystem levels.
- Provide guidance on EMIR best practices, rules, and methodologies to PDN analysis engineers.
- Troubleshoot and debug EMIR issues and improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and enhance scripts to postprocess EMIR results into dashboards and actionable summaries.
- Maintain and release qualified EMIR flow releases for large and complex SoCs.
- Qualify EMIR tools using regression management, tests, and create regression tests.
- Engage with EDA vendors and collaborate with EDA partners on optimal CAD solutions and new features/flows.
What you'll need
- 6 to 15 years of experience in the EM/IR and PDN domain.
- Expert experience with Synopsys Redhawk SC and Cadence Voltus power integrity analysis tools.
- Exposure to PNR/STA and extraction industry standard tools and flows.
- At least a bachelor’s degree in CS, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years hardware engineering experience, or a master’s with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
- Strong Python/Tcl/Perl scripting skills for maximizing design productivity and customizing tool flows.
- Ability to support and enhance EMIR analysis flows and release qualified flow versions.
