Hardware Validation and Voltage Characterization - Senior Engineer

Overview

Senior Engineer role focused on developing and validating voltage plans for Data Center SoCs, including silicon characterization and Vmin analysis.

What you'll do

• Lead voltage-plan development for Data Center SoCs.
• Perform silicon characterization and Vmin analysis.
• Drive power optimization activities across silicon milestones.
• Work cross-functionally with PTE, SW, PMIC, Thermal, and Validation teams to define, characterize, validate, and release production-ready voltage plans.
• Analyze large silicon characterization datasets.
• Develop automation tools and build dashboards for Vmin trends, voltage correlations, and silicon-health monitoring.

What you'll need

• Experience in SoC power characterization, data center experience, silicon validation, voltage plan development, and power optimization (5–6 years).
• Expertise in SoC power architecture and Vmin characterization.
• Knowledge of PMIC and regulator architecture, power integrity, and PDN analysis.
• Statistical data analysis skills.
• Ability to debug using Linux/Android and understanding of schematics and CRO usage.
• Education in B.E./M.E./M.Tech in ECE, EE, Computer Engineering, or related field.
