Sr Lead Engineer - HW Board Design

Overview

Sr Lead Engineer - HW Board Design is a hardware engineering role focused on planning, designing, verifying, and testing critical electronic systems and bringing up hardware performance for product programs.

What you'll do

• Plan, optimize, verify, and test critical electronic systems including circuits, mechanical systems, and Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems.
• Integrate complex hardware features and functionality according to product proposals or roadmaps.
• Run complex simulations and analyses and implement designs optimizing for power, performance, and area.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement requirements and incorporate test solutions to improve yield, test time, and quality.
• Evaluate, characterize, and develop novel manufacturing solutions and bring up products for customer expectations and schedules.
• Evaluate reliability of materials and techniques and drive innovation, automation, and optimization for productivity.
• Write detailed technical documentation for complex hardware projects.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience.
• OR Master's degree with 3+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience.
• OR PhD with 2+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience.
• Experience in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports (preferred).
• Experience with circuit design such as digital, analog, or RF (preferred).
• Experience using schematic capture and circuit simulation software (preferred).
• Experience using hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers (preferred).
