Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Application Support Engineer role acting as a software detective to investigate and resolve issues across essential business systems, with a focus on O9 Solutions.

What you'll do

• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business needs.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
• Continuously improve support processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.
• 15 years full time education is required.
• Must have: proficiency in O9 Solutions.
• Must have: functional knowledge of Demand Planning.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in O9 Solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.
• Experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level packaged applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to address system challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management processes.
• Familiarity with Demand Planning, Demand Forecasting, Statistical Modelling concepts.
